Windows .yymp import error

So on 2.2.5.481 I get a very weird import error when importing .yymp files.

The files import to the wrong spot on my resource tree... it's kind of hard to explain so here is a GIF. I can't find any information about this online, but I have encountered the issue on a few different projects. Could this have something to do with using Git Hub for version control? If anyone can suggest a possible fix I would be immensely appreciative.

(For anyone wondering, no I cannot just drag the files out from the bottom; it will not allow me, and if I relaunch the project after doing this, the imported files will all be gone with who knows what kind of damage done to the 'under the hood' file structure.)
