iOS Xcode Error with App Icons

So I updated my icon images and splash screen images and now when I try to compile my game in Xcode it keeps failing saying, "Failed to write image data for the app icon set" and it says it for every app icon I uploaded. Does anybody know why this is? I uploaded them to game maker studio 2 as .jpeg, should they be .png or another format? Also if an admin is reading this please update the team that they need to add a splash screen format for the iPhone X screen size. I am using the lasted build of both Xcode and Game Maker Studio 2.

Well turns out you need to make the app icon a .png file. However the splash screens don't work at all in the latest build.
