Welcome possible contenders to the Wizard Battle.

The Powers That Be were ashamed of how the last battle ended.
Wizards simply vanishing and the Game being called off? This is not protocol!
The Powers That Be(The Powers from here on) have decided to make a few... Adjustments to the original method of Wizard Battling.

And this brings us to Wizard Battle: Evolution.

RULES OF THE WIZARD BATTLE:
Every action taken during the Battle is weighed against the roll of a 6 sided die.
The way this roll affects your Wizard and their actions are as follows:
1.Supreme Failure: The opposite of your intentions happens. (This always has bad side effects for the casting Wizard)
2.Failure: The action fails (Bad things usually happen here, but not always)
3.Success?: The action certainly happens, but not in the way you envisioned.
4.Success!: The action happens exactly as you had hoped!
5.Masterful: Your action succeeds and usually has an added effect to your benefit!
6.Supreme Victory!: Your action happens with profound success. Something amazing will happen in regard to this roll.

The Powers acknowledge there are possible roll modifiers that could result in lower than one and higher than 6 rolls.
Not much is known about these numbers, and as such they cannot be listed here.

Regardless of you actions effects, the chances of failure/success remain the same, however the more powerful the action the more profound the resulting backfiring could be.
Creating a planet to go to? Nope, now it's a black hole!

Goal of The Wizard Battle:
As a result of the last Wizard Battle, The Powers have changed the format of the Battle slightly.
The goal is effectively the same as always, kill other Wizards.
However there is a new mechanic in play to spice things up for the viewers.
The Wizards are now sorted into teams to compete.
A Wizard is rewarded by the Powers for helping teammates and working with them to take out the other team.
Subsequently, back stabbing can have negative effects.
Wizards are not required to fall into the Two Party system, but those who do are rewarded in the end.
The team that wipes out the other first get a surprise at the end of Wizard Battle, and we hope Wizards will take advantage of the new system put into play.

Overall Scoring is still done via a kill/death ratio, so don't worry if you die, you'll come back to life.
Your first roll after a respawn is always a 4[Success!].

The Powers update the Game every Friday PST with no set time because The Powers have an erratic work schedule and could be at work at anytime of day

Universes:
The Plane of Mundane:

Magic can behave erratically in this Universe, the more spell casters there are in an area, the more powerful magic becomes.

The Astral Plane:
This is a mirror universe to the Plane of Mundane, however Wizards cannot interact with Wizards they see in the other plane.

Joining:
To join the Battle you must simply submit you Wizard's name and first actions in the Battle.
A starting off point is listed at the bottom of the page for those who wish to use it.

Current Wizards:

Guests:

Current Laws of the Universes:
Plane of Mundane:

Magic is more powerful when Wizards are close together.

Astral Plane:
Magic is weaker the closer Wizards are to each other.

The Lottery:
The magical lottery tickets return in this Battle.
Simply give your name via screaming it into the sky, and you will be entered to win an item.
The item may be a simple Health Potion, or a forgery of the Sharpest Knife in the Universe stolen from the annals of time itself.

Starting off point:
Seemingly the most plain plane in all of the multiverse.
Its a vast grassy plain with a rather deep crevasse separating it into two distinct halves.
At each half of the crevasse stand a a tower.

One black and one white, each made of what appears to be regular stone brick.
The top floor of each is surrounded with tall archways that used to house windows, but they are long gone now.

The crevasse appears to have been burned into the ground by powerful magic in the past, but magic itself seems weak in this plane.

Each Wizard entering the battle will appear on either side of the ravine, approx 30 paces apart if on the same side.
