Let's start this back up ;)

Welcome to Wizard Battle. You play as a wizard who can do anything. Literally. Let yourself soar through the skies, bring someone back down to terra-firma, painfully. Give a wizard a present. Turn the said present into a bomb. I'm sure you get the idea.

Rules

But just because you CAN do anything, doesn't mean that you SHOULD. Each turn a die is rolled for your wizard, which can alter the effects of what they do.

  1. Epic Failure. The opposite of your action happens. (This will always be unfavorable for the receiving wizard, regardless of the original action.)
  2. Failure. Your action fails completely. Bad things often happen in coincidence with this roll.
  3. Success? The action goes off... but perhaps not the way you intended.
  4. Success! The action goes off as you intended.
  5. Masterful. The action goes off, and it's somewhat improved.
  6. Epic Win! Your action is preformed in such fashion that something amazing also happens.

There are ways of getting figures other than these six, but nobody really knows too much about them.
Whether you conjure a light snack or create an entire planet, the chances of success are the same, however the bigger and more potent the original action, the bigger and more potent the backfire could be.
You can edit your posts to respond to other wizard's actions, but their actions are their own. Do not attempt to control others' actions.

Please avoid unbreakable items and insta-kill spells as they aren't fun for anyone.
Keep game posts to this thread, there is a separate thread for discussion here (or anything else related, but this thread should only be actions and updates.) Finally, while there is not going to be a hard cap on action amounts, but try and keep them reasonably sized. In a long post, it may be ideal to emphasize actions, especially if you feel they could be easily missed.

Updates are on Mondays CST, I'll try and gather in all actions, but be warned posts or edits made on the Monday before update time are liable to be overlooked.

The Goal

The goal is to kill the other wizards of course. You get 100 hitpoints to start with but don't worry too much if you do get killed, as you can respawn. Your first roll after a (re)spawn is always a 4.

The scoring is kept in a Kills to Death ratio.

Universe:

You are all set in a world that treats most scientific laws opposite or drastically different of how they are normally treated. Things roll uphill, gravity may be slightly altered, etc.

Joining

To join, simply post your first action(s), it's that simple. But I'd recommend at least giving your wizard a name, and a description. You can certainly draw a picture of your wizard if you are the artistic type.

If you wish to contribute, but not join fully, you can also give wizards in the game Magical Items simply by posting as well.

Current Wizards:
@SyntheticStorm9: Syntheticstorm of nine
@Mercerenies: Sean Stewart
@Laura: Nymiria
@Darzoz: Fuchsia
@Lukasmah: Fred
@roytheshort: Inspector John T. Bucketface, Officer Infrared, Officer Cyan
@Brodie Swift: Swifty
@amusudan: Preston the Wizard Hunter
@Lrod Yokcos (Think I hit the tag limit): Kristoph O'Donald

Guests:
@Lukan: Lottery Manager
@TheUltimate: Item Giver

Current Laws of The Universe:

Frozen/Melting/Boiling Items have gravity reversed. The more frozen an object is, the more gravity is incremented in the opposite direction. This is likewise for objects that are hotter than they typically are. Due to this, Active lava zones and Arctic areas do not exist on any planet's surface. Very cold things make things they collide with hot, and vice versa.

Destruction spells cast by Wizards will restore objects in the universe, rather than destroy them. This only applies to things created in the universe, not anything brought into it. If an object is fully restored, it will begin to duplicate. Likewise, this is vice-cersa for restoration spells, if they hit anything created on the planet, the area that was hit will sustain damage. This only affects objects this way that are within a foot of the player.

Objects on hills will roll up the hill rather than down them.

If a lifeform is within a foot of any liquid, the liquid will attract and stick to them, unless they are holding their breath.

Ahhh yes, it's been far too long, says the renegade train hijacker Sean Stewart as he spots another interesting universe with some wizards in it. "Oi! Train captain man! Steer over to that dimension!" The engineer momentarily considers correcting the 'train captain' terminology but bites his lip as he remembers that this psychopath has a five-dimensional gun pointed at his head. The engineer steers the train toward the backwards universe and prepares for a smooth, interdimensional landing into a certified station...

But what fun would that be? At the last moment, Sean starts hitting random buttons on the hypertrain's control panel, causing it to veer off course hyperdimensionally and land forty seconds in the past. Sean himself moves to an empty train car near the back and causes it to grow and encompass the planet that he's on. Forty seconds later, all of the other wizards find themselves on a planet in a giant train car. Much better, Sean thinks to himself, Now let's have some fun.. He creates an army of DEADLY WILD BABOONS with a thirst for blood and sends them off to do... whatever comes naturally.

[[Didn't really participate in the last one due to college, so I'm just going to paste what my first move was last time here. Definitely plan to be really active in this one.]]

A dark purple distortion appeared over a hill. It expanded until lighting was flickering throughout it, and and dirt and grass starting to be pulled through it. And suddenly, just as it appeared, it had gone.

A woman lay face down on the hill where the distortion once was. Slowly, she moved to get into a standing position, checking her body for any damage. Nymiria had been through quite a lot, but this was something quite new indeed.

Suddenly, a sharp pain swept through her head. Towers. She tried to remember where she was last, but unfortunately her mind was blank. Nym wished there was someone around her that could help. Just like that, a tracker appeared in her hand.

Wait, what? How-?, before she looked at the tracker itself. It had some intitials on it. JTB

Oh, another reset? This is getting more and more common. Hopefully the board is okay and this is just temporary.

Fred enters the new universe. This is quite an interesting one, it seems. It doesn't act like he'd expect it to. The floating island world was almost aa interesting, but that didn't last long. Hopefully no one will mess this one up just because it's inconvenient.

Time to find something fun to do in this universe, but first things first. Brutus, Spartacus, Butcher, Fang... This time you're fluffy bunnies. Now, how to make life harder for everyone?

Fred cuts a small hole in gravity with THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE UNIVERSE, just to make it slightly annoying for everyone when they suddenly start to float. He also creates a cloud of doom which moves around in a random pattern and rains boulders and axes of doom on any players that might find themselves underneath... Or above.
Finally, he creates a flock of bearrows, terrifying, bloodthirsty, flying bear-like creatures. That should be enough to create a bir of chaos for now.

What now? Oh, right, time to find a place for a new lair... OF DOOOOOOOOM. Fred finds a conveniently located fountain in the middle of nowhere and uses a package of one use Instant Stairs: Just Add Water. A huge spiral stairway pops into existence. He has just enough time to climb to the top and look around before it collapses. The fall would probably be pretty deadly if the stairs didn't become incredibly soft when they fell apart. Once he lands, the rubble just slowly evaporates. What a great invention. Useful, cheap, portable and completely eco friendly if we ignore all the regular-house gasses it creates. Order now and get another one for free.

Well, Fred knows reasonably well what this part of the world looks like now. Time to pick a location and get going.

Lukan

Gay Wizard Freak
A wandering traveler, who has been through many universes, appears.
He's surrounded by deep purple smoke, that whirls around him, licking at his skin.

His hair is black, his cloak a dark violet, tattered at the ends.
Behind the shadow cast on his face by the hat he dons, eyes burn in a fierce yellow glow.
Not of malice, but of determination.
He needed answers, and the only way he was going to find them was to... to...

OFFER GREAT PRICES ON USED SPELLS FROM THE MULTIVERSE!
He's traveled from CubeWorld to the Benfield Towers, gathering goods that other wizards used or discarded.
He has Creepers, he has the knives. From the Sharpest knife in the world to THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE UNIVERSE, he's got it all.

Just throw your name in the ring, and he'll give an item to one lucky winner!

Lottery Rules:
The lottery itself is not governed by main game rolls. It is more of a side game with prizes.
You enter by giving Lukan Spellweaver your name. He wanders around the playfield, so you're bound to see him.
The results are posted in the next game update or shortly after.
If you win the lottery, you may not enter the next round. If the item you get is unique, it is removed from the lottery unless a spell comes into play resetting the universe.

The Character:
Other wizards may indirectly control Lukan's movements by saying they see him in their posts or similar actions involving him.
I won't do much control of the Wizard, so he's more of a community controlled NPC.
He can take damage, and if he dies, the lottery ends.

UNIVERSE WB-DES - CONFIDENTIAL - REF#7428

SUMMARY:

UNIVERSE APPEARS TO FOLLOW AN ANOMALOUS SET OF PHYSICAL RULES. ENTROPY APPEARS TO INCREASE WHILE GRAVITATIONAL FORCES APPEAR TO ACT AS A WEAK REPELLENT. ALMOST EVERY TRAIT DISPLAYED WILL BE OPPOSITELY IMPACTED BY ENTERING THIS UNIVERSE.

THIS UNIVERSE, LIKE ALL OTHERS IN CLASSIFICATION WB THIS UNIVERSE HAS VOLATILE PROBABILITY PROPERTIES (VPPS) AND SHOULD BE TREATED WITH UTMOST CAUTION.

THE OFFICERS ASSIGNED TO THIS UNIVERSE ARE THE WORST IN THEIR FIELDS AS AN ATTEMPT TO COUNTER THE REVERSAL PROPERTIES OF THIS UNIVERSE.

OFFICERS DISPOSED:

OFFICER INFRARED - INFRARED HAS BEEN CONVICTED OF MULTIVERSAL FRAUD (INCLUDING A PYRAMID SCHEME WHERE INFRARED WAS THE ONLY PARTICIPANT), GROSS NEGLIGENCE, AND SHE IS SOLELY ACCOUNTABLE FOR TURNING THE POLITICAL SYSTEMS OF FIFTEEN PLANETS INTO SOCIOECONOMIC REPLICANTS OF THE USSR ON THE PLANET EARTH IN UNIVERSE UB-072.

OFFICER CYAN - THE LAZIEST WIZARD ON THE FORCE, SO LAZY THAT TIME BECOMES LAZY AROUND HIM. UNINTENTIONALLY CAUSING DILATION. THERE ARE ALSO STRONG MEMETIC EFFECTS, WHERE PRESENCE TO HIS LAZYNESS CAN CAUSE PROCRASTINATION.

INSPECTOR JOHN T. BUCKETFACE - THE MOST INCOMPETENT WIZARD IN THE ENTIRE DEPARTMENT OF INCOMPETENT WIZARDS, RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF AT LEAST 18 UNIVERSES DIRECTLY, CURRENT ESTIMATES SUGGEST 2.474*10e6 INDIRECTLY.

The three wizards arrive in the police car, and John prepares his usual set up with the Baton Police Station. The HQ unfortunately made a severe miscalculation in the rules of this universe. Physical laws are reversed, but behavior is still determined by the wizards themselves.

"Ey up wot's this going on bloody 'ell I could do with a cuppa"

Inspector Bucketface pours the kettle and makes a cup of tea. Unfortunately, the boiling water falls onto the ceiling and freezes it. The frozen section breaks off and flies into the universe and will probably hit someone.

Officer Infrared takes advantage of this Universe's properties and starts setting fire to PoliceHQCredits in the basement of the baton station. The fire unburns, creating more credits than were initially there. Unfortunately she doesn't know how to put it out and the pile of money keeps growing.

Cyan does nothing. He falls asleep on the floor of the station.

*Sha-ZAK!*

A spacetime rift slices the air with a flash of electric light. Ult leans out and waves at the nearest wizard.

"Hello there! It's been a while since the last new universe. Here's a welcome gift."

She hands the wizard a large key. Attached is a handwritten tag: "Reveals the door to The Summit's secret lab".

Every wizard in the first update also gets 3 magical snowballs, made of the best, coldest, stickiest snow in the multiverse, which will never melt, and only subject to the universe's laws of physics after being thrown.

"I might join you all later. Have fun!"

She leans back through the rift and it disappears.

Update #1

02/27/17

(All done!)

SyntheticStorm of 9

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs

You rolled a 4!

Upon arriving in this new universe, you are unsure of your surroundings or why you are here. Realizing this, you shout into the cosmos attempting to call your friend @Sweetluvinbizkit into the realm, awaiting a reply you glance around. Feeling your trenchcoat weighed down, you glance down to find three freezing cold snowballs, sitting in your pocket. FFT! You glance up in surprise to find you are suddenly inside a massive train car, with many other wizards and many primates with large teeth.

Sean Stewart

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs, Large Key with Note

You rolled a 4!

Holding the "Train Captain Man" at gunpoint, you speed towards A new universe, crashing into the realm, you begin to cause as much chaos as possible. Pressing the biggest and brightest buttons on the train control panel, you crash approximately forty seconds into the past. You use your magic to grow the train, causing the back traincar, the one you occupy, to grow until it covers a majority of the surface of the planet. The front few cars are dangling off the edge of the planet. Forty seconds later, the rest of the wizards are inside this car with you. Furthering your path of destruction and chaos, you create an *Army of bloodthirsty baboons*. These carnivorous baboons roam around the train car, searching around for food. As is natural to the baboon, they will not attack unless they feel threatened. ZZZAT! Your head snaps to the left, as a wizard cuts into the realm."Hello there! It's been a while since the last new universe. Here's a welcome gift." The Wizard hands you a large key with a small note attached. "Reveals the door to The Summit's secret lab". Along with this key, The wizard hands you three magical snowballs and disappears just as fast as she had appeared. The time rift closing behind her.

Nymiria

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs, JTB Tracker

You rolled a 4!

A large purple distortion appears and disappears in a matter of a few seconds, pulling grass and dirt up from the ground semi-violently, when the distortion vanishes, it throws the loose grass and dirt in every direction, leaving you on a patch of ground devoid of plant-life. With a flash of pain, your mind races with past memories. You attempt to remember where you last were or how you managed to get here, but you cannot. Defeated, you think to yourself that maybe someone can help you, you desperately wish for someone of use. Upon this thought, a small tracking device appears in your hand. Engraved on the tracker are the initials "JTB". You are left with no time to think about what just happened as you are suddenly shifted several feet up, inside of a train car that seems to just have appeared from nowhere.

Fuchsia

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs

You rolled a 4!

Wandering through the new universe, you glance over the horizon, on the very edge of the land, you see a large Traincar, covering a vast majority of the land. To further inspect this anomaly, you climb the massive tree you had been traveling towards since you arrived. Climbing this tree to a very high branch, you are able to see shapes moving inside the car. Some of these shapes are strange and small. Others appear to be other people. Aways away, you see another wizard, while you can't entirely determine what it is attempting to do, due to your distance from them, you are easily able to see the massive black cloud that appeared next to him. You're unsure about what to think of this. Feeling a cold breeze hit your arm, you look at the tree trunk to find three Snowballs stuck to the side of the tree, Observing the anomalous quality that the frozen balls of snow had, you decide to pocket them.

Fred

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs, THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE UNIVERSE

You rolled a 4!

You enter the new universe, full of ideas and unsure of how long this universe will last. Immediately after arriving, you make Brutus, Spartacus, Butcher, and Fang into fluffy little adorable bunnies. Seeing the world around you, despite the strange physical aspects of the realm, you decide there is still not enough chaos. You use THE SHARPEST KNIFE IN THE UNIVERSE to cut a small hole in gravity. This hole sucks gravity within a hundred feet of it into it, Any player that ventures within 100 feet of this hole will no longer be subject to gravity. Satisfied with your hole, you release a massive Cloud of Doom unto the world, raining sharp axes and large boulders both below and above the Cloud. Still not satisfied with the amount of chaos you have caused, you create a large flock of Bearrows; Large Bears with majestic wings of DOOM. These horrifying creatures set off in search of food, regardless of how large. Finally satisfied with the destruction you had caused, you use your INSTA-STAIRS™ to get to higher ground. Upon climbing the stairs you survey the land around you and plummet to the ground as the stairs collapse into stair-shaped pillows. The pillows evaporate as you stand up, you've found your next path.

John T. Bucketface/Officer Cyan/Officer Infrared

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs

You rolled a 4!

You have been dispatched to WB-Des. As you arrive on the only current planet in the universe, you are greeted with quite a site. After landing, you three officers go about creating your police station, the station is built without any complications. Officer Cyan decides to take this time to nap on the floor, as he is very tired. Infrared, noting the log that HQ had given them, heads to the basement to try and use these rules to her benefit. Lighting her credits on fire with a small fire spell, the credits begin to be removed of all impurities, after these impurities vanish, they begin to duplicate over and over, beginning to fill the small room with them. Unsure of how to put the fire out, Infrared panics. Inspector Bucketface, thirsty after a long ride, decides he could "do with a cuppa". Inspector bucketface uses water from nearby river to make some tea. As the tea boils, it is held in place by the kettle it sits in. As soon as Bucketface pours the tea, it flies towards the ceiling, freezing the edges of the doorway and part of the ceiling. The coldest of pieces break off and fly upwards into space, where they will eventually melt and fall back to the planet.

Swifty wakes from his nap atop a grassy hill. He looks up into the sky and studies it for a moment. He'd been asleep for a while now, at least a few years. Darkness, and tendrils... what an interesting dream he thought as it began to slip from his mind.

The Wizard stood up and grimaced. There was some strange magic flowing through the ground.. no, through its essence. The Wizard stretches out his hand to call his trusty old Staff. He looks it over, feeling a sense of happiness, and points it to the ground in an attempt to study what strange magic is going on here.

Preston the Wizard Hunter arrives in Universe WB-DES, the same destination as the wizard Fred left for a few weeks earlier.

Preston, robbed of his magical powers by the Court of Magic for the violation of rule 37b, makes due with magically enhanced artifacts and tools. He hunts evil wizards (otherwise known as The Masters of Chaos) for the Court of Magic, in the hope of one day being allowed to regain his magical powers.

Preston, wearing a magical protective cloak and armed with a magically enhanced bolt action rifle and a glowing wrench, both with uses unknown to anyone but himself and the creator, sets out to find Fred and pump him full of magical lead.

Officer Cyan does nothing. He keeps sleeping peacefully.

Infrared shuts the basement door, the credits are just building up in there. She'll come back later when the riches are ready and get the hell out of this Universe. "Jesus, John. You have no idea how this place works do you?" Infrared steals John's wallet from his back pocket while showing him there's a boiling cup of delicious tea in the fridge. "Ohh loveleh" He sits down with his tea and starts drinking.

Infrared has other plans, she teleports directly to Sean and engages in fisticuffs for no real reason to be honest with you.

This is good, Sean thinks to himself, this is very good. He then notices the snowballs and magic key in his hands. Deciding that the key is important, he creates the PERFECTLY SQUARE TRAIN CAR, a train car so square that it looks like it was crafted by the gods. He places the magic key inside the train car and sets it off. This train car, of course, is not just perfectly square but also hyperdimensional. It flies off out of existence and into metaspace. It will probably show up in this universe again in two or three more rounds, and because Sean has a twisted sense of humor, it is extremely likely that the train car will hit a random player upon reentry. Now then, what to do with these snowballs? Well... Sean does the only logical thing. He takes all three of the magical snowballs and stacks them into a MAGICAL SNOWMAN, whom he brings to life. "Hm..." Sean thinks as the snowman ponders its own existence, "I think I'll call you... Icy... Icy the Snowman! Now, Icy, start throwing snowballs at all the other wizards! Now!"

Having found a perfect spot for his new place, Fred immediately teleports there and starts creating a tower, because what's a wizard without a tower? Except this universe works in mysterious ways, so the tower ends up being a massive underground complex, filled with blast doors, defence turrets, booby traps and guards. With great ventilation combined with its own power generation, food production and an emergency oxygen supply, firefighting mechanisms and medical facilities, it should be fairly self sufficient and safe from intruders. This is a double edged sword, however, because if things go wrong it will be almost as hard to get out as it is to get in. But oh well. Vehicles and various weapons are produced near or at the surface, while deep, deep down there is a mine needed to obtain various resources. This, combined with layers and layers of redundancy, makes for quite an excellent base. And, to top it all off, a large part of this complex is an enormous missile silo for a gargantuan missile just in case a terrifying weapon is ever needed.

Most of this, unfortunately, is just a plan, as the spell is only enough to complete this project about halfway through. The silo is currently empty, most systems are only partially functional and actual mining and production haven't even started yet. Doesn't matter. Fred enters the main control room. While it's not the only one, it's definitely the most important and best protected one. He takes a seat and looks at a huge set of screens and control panels. He tries to use them, but most of them aren't functional yet. Even basic security cameras still need to be installed and connected. Only a few of the screens can actually be turned on, and the control panels still don't control much. Overall, it's not usable at the moment.

Bored of the useless control room, Fred decides to check how the construction of his base is actually going. His minions are hard at work and work is definitely getting done, but the base won't be completed any time soon. He doesn't exactly want to wait around, so he decides to go back to the surface, see what's going on there and possibly defend the place from any potential attackers while the place is still in such a vulnerable state.

Nym looked around herself. A train car? What is this nonsense? I want out of here, she thought.

Just like that, the train car she was in disappeared, while the the other stages of the train were disconnected now due her stage being gone. They moved apart from each other, sliding in opposite directions, until they fell off the planet and into space. Nym swore she saw other people in what was now a space train.

Nymiria was now back on the hill she appeared into this universe on. Around her was dead plant life and dirt thrown around. Looking at the tracker that had appeared in her hand, she noticed a blinking red dot off to the north. "Alright JTB, time to find you. This is going to be a very long walk.", she said out loud to no one in particular.

Except the walk was not long at all. Thirty minutes later, Nym was outside of a police station made of batons.

Update #2

Swifty

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: Trusty Staff

You rolled a 4!

Finally waking after your very long, draw out nap, You look around you. You have awoken in a strange new world, a world with strange magical properties flowing through the essence of it's existence. Perturbed by this, you stretch your arm out, calling your trusted old staff to you. You feel very attached to this staff, and you are glad it was wth you. Taking no more thought, you point your staff at the ground. You shudder a little as the laws of the universe are shown to you in their exactness. In this endeavor, you also detect another source of magic; other wizards. They aren't too far away either.

Preston the Wizard Hunter

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: Magical Protective Cloak, Magically Enhanced Bolt Action Rifle, Glowing Wrench

You rolled a 4!

Arriving in this universe, you take a look around. This is the world that the fiend, Fred, has landed in. You are unsure of where he is on the planet, but he could not have gotten far from this entry point. Seeing shapes in the distance, you strut towards them, holding your rifle close to you in the event that you will be able to use it.

Cyan, Infrared, Bucketface

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs

You rolled a 6!

Cyan continues to sleep peacefully on the floor of the station. He sleeps so peacefully, that he begins to dream of Officer Infrared. Naughty little boy.
Infrared leaves the basement in a panic, shutting the door behind her. unbeknownst to her, the shut door will eventually suffocate the fire, after the room has filled considerably more. Walking into the main room, she sees Inspector Bucketface staring at the sky with an empty kettle of tea. Obviously he had ignored the laws of the universe given to them. She shows him the Cup of already boiling tea in the fridge, and simultaneously stole his wallet, the tea that had been made before arriving. It was very hot when it entered the universe, so that was it's own default temperature. The liquid stayed in the cup because of this. While John enjoyed his tea, Infrared decided to go on an adventure, and by adventure, she meant teleporting to Sean and decking him straight in the nose.

Fuchsia

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magical Snowballs, Party Pistol

You rolled a 1!

Looking down at the mess of evil magic being done, you decide to take action! As you go to summon your very powerful SNIPER RIFLE OF REALITY'S END, Something touches your arm. You let out a yelp and jump a little. A little leaf had fallen and brushed against your arm. Annoyed with yourself, you go to aim your newly summoned weapon, only to find that instead you had summoned a pistol. You groan at the sight of the pink, sparkly, useless thing you had created.

Sean

HP: 90
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: Magical key, 3 Magic Snowballs

You rolled a 3!

Looking at the key, You decide it must be very very important, so you decide to create the Perfectly Square Train Car, while creating this however, you end up creating a car without any propulsion system, if it is to travel hyperdimensionally, it must be pushed. Placing the key inside, you decide to give it a small push. The car slowly rolls into metaspace, where it will undoubtedly come to a stop. Ignoring this fact, you take the three snowballs and do the most logical thing you can think of. You build a snowman. The snowman comes to life! However, now that it is alive, it is lacking most sensory inputs. It has no eyes, mouth, nose, or ears. It can only feel at this point. The snowman wanders around, limited only by it's lack of perception. Pondering your thought behind not giving it any facial features, you are interrupted by a flash of light and a crunching noise. You have been punched for apparently no reason.

Fred

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: Three Magic Snowballs

You rolled a 5!

FInding the perfect place, next to a tall tree, You cast a spell to create your tower. For some reason, instead of a tower, a massive underground bunker-building is created. Normally this spell wouldn't finish almost anything, however, during the casting of the spell, you feel a rush of power. The spell works like a charm, finishing many systems that are usually not done for awhile. As a result, your base is well on it's way to being finished in a timely manner. Surveying your work with pride, you teleport outside the complex to protect it from any intruders while it is being built.

Nym

HP: 100
Kills: 0/0
Inventory: 3 Magic Snowballs, JTB Tracker

You rolled a 3!

Sitting in the crowed train car, you think to yourself hopelessly; I want out of here... Just like that. The train car is no longer in view. Ecstatic, you look around! Behind you is the traincar. You've teleported roughly six feet away from it, for no apparent reason. Annoyed, you glance down at your tracker. A red dot is blinking not far away from here. You set off to find JTB, around a half hour later, a building made of batons comes into view. You have reached your destination.

Dream Infrared punches Dream Cyan and jumps out the dream. Bucketface immediately notices that Dream Laws have been breached and incorrectly fills in a form, before sending it off to HQ. He mistakes a nearby bin for a Magical Postbox and promptly destroys his letter. I don't think I need to say where all his teabags have been going for the past few years.

Real Infrared shoves the train inside itself using a Recursifier, punches Sean again, creates several holes in reality and handcuffs Sean to a Soul Beast. I forgot to mention, Infrared stole a Soul Beast from the Prison Universe (PS-076). These creatures cause emotions to become tangible in the worst way. If you're angry, you turn into stone. If you're upset, you become very damp. They're more of an inconvenience than anything. The name just makes them sound really terrible. Also she left behind some deadly Mind Spiders which cause death if untreated, those are bad. Real Infrared then teleports out to Preston and steals 1,000,000 Gold, causing his Gold to become negative. He is now in debt to the Bank of Imagination, and unless he pays up, he will die in 3 turns.

Cyan continues doing nothing, his dream is now a complete blank. Dream Infrared opens the basement and steals the hoard of HQ credits before jumping out the Basement Garbage Chute. Bucketface opens the door to notice a person arriving at the police station. John decides it's as good a time as any to pretend he didn't notice that and act surprised when they enter the station.

Nym walks in "What is yer name?" asks Bucketface to himself in the mirror. "M' name is Inspector Bucketface, best poilice offisor in the woild" He continues trying to motivate himself. Bucketface turns around and uses his police issue "Machine That Prints Out What You Should Say In This Situation" (or MTPOWYSSITS for short), it prints out a piece of paper containing lore information on Benfeild and Infrared which says whatever Nym reads in their post. He then drinks the rest of his tea.

Nym walked into the police station. "What is yer name?", said a strange man standing immediately in the front door.

"Hello, my name is-", Nymiria started, before being distracted by the police station interior, where someone was entering the basement door. She walked past the man, and went inside.

"M' name is Inspector Bucketface, best poilice offisor in the woild", then said the man in a low voice as she passed by him.

"Who was that woman... Inspector Bucketface is it? She seemed strangely familiar.", said Nym.

"Oi, that is Offisor Infraroid, she's quoite the charactor. Don' know much about 'er". Infrared. Something about that name... Nymiria needed to know what was going on, and why she couldn't remember.

"Is there anywhere we can look up a profile of her? There must be some information about her", Nym asked the Inspector. Bucketface led Nymiria over to a computer and started typing things in.

"Oi neva' caught yer name, miss", Bucketface implored.

Name? Nymiria of cour-, and then it hit her.

"My name is Nymiria Benfeild."

I'll take you up on your offer for "artistic types"

kristophodonald.png

Kristoph O'Donald is a wizard who lives in a technologically advanced world populated by people who are not wizards. The wizards had their planet annihilated by a petty alien and Kristoph had to escape at the last minute in a series of events which was rather stunning to behold and consider. That's not what's important here though. The thing that is relevant is that he was abducted from his nocturnal cabin years after escape by an intruder whom we can only assume is a villain who proceeded to send him to this frigid beach in the middle of nowhere for reasons unknown and unexplained.

He is capable of shooting lightning from his hands and also the rest of his body.

Kristoph possesses the Chronoscope, a telescope that allows him to look up to just over two weeks into the future, but only as far away spatially as an ordinary telescope will allow. It is, however, broken at the moment so it's effectively just an ordinary telescope.

He can create arbitrarily large clouds of darkness in which and through which vision is impossible.

Kristoph: Asses surroundings beyond "hey I'm on a cold beach"

No, my snowman idea failed! Who could've foreseen this! Sean grabs a chunk of snow from his snowman's abdomen, remembering that this snowman cannot feel and thus has no pain receptors, and fashions the snow into a REVERSE CAUSAL UN-PUNCHING DEVICE, a device which, when activated, goes back in time and stops various enemies from punching the user, thereby recovering health for the user. If it can't find anyone in recent history who punched the user, it will look back further, even into other universes, for punches to undo.

Sean then takes another small chunk of his snowman and forms it into a ticking time bomb with 20 seconds on the clock, which he then puts back into the snowman. Suddenly remembering that time bombs tend to explode, Sean transposes his position with that of the nearest wizard, so that someone else can deal with the exploding snowman problem.

Fred plants a bunch of large, carnivorous plants in various places around the base, not so much because he expects them to do anything at that density, but because he wants to limit any attackers' options when they choose where to approach the "tower" from. Another defence that acts as a double edged sword, but not that big of a deal for a self sustained base.

A bunch of winged caltrops and Czech hedgehogs should also help.

Hey, guys.
Sorry I haven't updated today. I've only had since like an hour ago to two hours ago to start writing nonstop. It isn't finished yet so I have to push the posting to tomorrow. I'll continue to write more tonight if possible, but It most likely won't get posted until early-mid tommorrow.

Update #3
03/13/17

So sorry, everyone! I've only had access to the forum via computer using my phone's wireless hotspot. It's been very difficult to update this, this week.

As Cyan begins to dream of officer Infrared, He imagines her just as she is; an awful person. Dream Infrared decks Dream Cyan very hard, knocking him out of the dream. Jumping after him, Dream Infrared heads to the basement to steal credits. Being a dream character, she struggles to pick up credits, as they kind of slide through her arms a little. Settling for an armful, she jumps into the basement garbage shoot. The garbage shoot does not go down any farther, the base is in the basement, so she just sort of sits there. Meanwhile Cyan continues to sleep, dreaming of nothingness, finally at peace. Dream Cyan lays knocked out on the floor next to actual Cyan. Over by Sean, Real Infrared decides to punch Sean again. So she does, very hard. She then casts a R... Re.... She can't remember what kind of spell it is. Regardless, she tries to shove the train inside of itself. Unable to remember the right spell, she ends up creating another train car and shoving it inside the one they were in. Deciding that this wasn't enough. She also creates multiple holes in the train. These holes feel much more real that anything else around them. Almost compelling you to believe they exist. Still as awful a person as ever, Real Infrared summons a gaggle of Soul Sucking Beasts: Tax Collectors. She then chains Sean to one of them, effectively trapping him with one of them. She then attempts to teleport Preston to her. The Holes that are in their reality compel her more strongly to stay and look at how real they are. Infrared instead teleports Preston to her. Upon his arrival, Infrared steals 1,000,000 Gold from him, causing his Gold to become negative. He is now in debt to the Bank of Imagination, and unless he pays up, he will die in 3 turns. Infrared sees a flash of light, she's swapped places with Sean! Meanwhile Bucketface is at the station, talking to himself in the mirror. "M' name is Inspector Bucketface, best poilice offisor in the woild" Bucketface talks himself up. Trying to impress himself. Too bad he's not interested, He was sure he felt something between him.

This name perplexes you greatly, you feel like you've heard it before. After some contemplation you ask the inspector i there is anything you can use o look up information on her. Waking up on the frigid beach, you are met with a sense of confusion. You are unsure of who brought you here, only that whoever it was, surely had his reasons for doing so. Standing up and stretching (The beach is sorta hard to sleep on, man. You should try not to do that), you take a gander at what's around you. Behind you, a few feet away, the water extends for what looks to be miles. You can see the coast on the horizon as well as a strangely large, boxlike, structure. In front of you is a freezing desert, pearly white sand covers the ground for as far as you can see. In the very far distance, you can make out mountains. Looking back at the structure across the waters, you observe the structure. This is obviously not a natural occurrence, someone else must be here with you.

You've been chained to a soul beast by the very same woman that punched you! Blasphemy! This cannot go untreated. Looking at your failed snowman idea, you reach in and pull out a large portion of your snowman and fashion an anti punching device while the woman is busy doing whatever it is she's doing to that poor man. After creating the ingenious device, you reach into your snowman again and use some of the remaining magical snow to create a ticking timebomb. You shove the timebomb back into your snowman and swap places with the nearest wizard! Your spell works like a charm! There is a flash of light and you are transported elsewhere! You turn around and glance behind you to find the snow man with the bomb! You've switched places with the nearset wizard, which just happens to be the women that punched You! The bomb will blow up at the end of the next turn.

Taking a good look at your base, you decide to make it even more defended! So you decide to create some giant carnivorous plants! You cast this powerful spell on the ground, magic flowing from your fingertips. There's a flash of light! You stand back to admire your work and you see... a row of small green stalks. That base must have taken the energy out of you. The plants have to be taken care of if they are ever to grow into the monsters they should be. If they even are those to begin with. Disappointed with this, you half heartedly attempt to create flying Caltrops and Czech hedgehogs. You're uninvestment into casting the spell has caused you to summon WINGED COW TRAPS. These traps fly around in search of small hedgehogs. In the event that they check an area and find one, they will promptly blow up. Surveying your sad attempt at renovation, you jump as a loud sound cracks through the air. One of your COW TRAPS falls out of the sky, bleeding profusely. It has been shot.

Very angry at yourself for your poor excuse that you call magic. You get very angry and, like any logical angry person with a weapon, fire your weapon into the head of the nearest living thing that isn't the tree right next to you. The gun makes a puff of smoke and s pink, gemmed out bullet fires straight off into the distance. You watch with angry satisfaction as your shot hits some animal and knocks it right out of the sky. A fairly well placed shot for an angry sociopath with a dorky pink gun.

"Those aren't mountains... they're... no wait they're actual mountains."

Gotta get over to the Mystery Structure to find out what's afoot because that is the only immediate thing in his vicinity that was revealed by the semi-favourable predetermined roll.
Kristoph passes over the water at breakneck pace through the power of lightning magics!

Sean dons his convenient EXPLOSION-PROOF ARMOR, which completely negates any damage from explosions or bombs, and backs a safe distance away from the other wizard. Heh, this should be fun to watch. Just to add to the turmoil, Sean creates the BOUNCY BALL OF ETERNAL DAMNATION, which, upon making contact with anything, splits into two identical bouncy balls, each carrying twice as much force as the original, and bounces off the object. He throws the bouncy ball at the other wizard.

Once, a long while ago, in a universe not unlike this one, there was a hateful business wizard who lived in fear of others. His name was Mr. Benfeild.

His plan? To destroy the world, and all who inhabited it. To achieve this end, he built Benfeild Towers, his base of operations. This was the origin of the Expandexitium, a storm generating device which ripped the land apart, and the Mechanicas, robots hell-bent on killing any wizards they met.
This was also where Mr. Benfeild died. And Dr. Benfeild and Lord Benfeild were born.

This was achieved with a device called the Splitter, which split a person into two parts. The good part and the evil part. Dr. Benfeild embodied all of Mr. Benfeild's pureness, his inquisitive mind, and his somewhat jokey attitude. Lord Benfeild represented his ambition, his desire, and his need to rule the world.

After they were created, and Benfeild Towers fell to ruin, they were separated. Dr. Benfeild sought out John T. Bucketface, and worked for him as an officer for some time before disappearing into obscurity. Lord Benfeild merged with the vampire Mage of the Mollusk, forming Lord Mollusk. Nothing is known of him past this point. Dr. Benfeild was said to have searched endlessly for him, to no avail.

Nym remembered all of this in a flash of a second. She remembered who she was, and what her destiny needed her to be. She needed to find the other shards of Benfeild's soul.

You rolled a 6!

(Bucketface) As Nym is busy having some weird flashback or something, you decide to wait and do what you're best at: Be an idiot. As Nym lies in a semi-coma you roll around on the floor. You roll around so well that the friction from you rolling around causes you, and the ground, to get very cold. The cold temperature causes the ground's gravity to slightly reverse. The entire station begins to slowly float off the ground. As you continue to roll, the station begins to accelerate faster as it gets colder. Around 50 ft up, the chuck of batons that are frozen break off the floor. The station drop back down to the ground. You have received A frozen chunk of baton. This baton chunk will fly away if you happen to let go of it. While it is in your possession, you have control over it. anything hit with the frozen baton chunk will sustain heavy burns and may even catch fire if exposed for too long.

(Dream Infrared) At this point, you realize that you, Dream Infrared, are in fact having a lucid real. Things now have consequences. Any destructive action you attempt could very well damage this universe for years to come. Destroying any possibility of other life to grow and prosper on this planet. Luckily, being a creature of dreams, consequence is alien to you. You decide to turn into a giant dream demon. During the transmogrification process, you develop a health link with the other officers. Any benefits regarding health that they receive, you will also receive. This also means that if one of you die, all of you will die.

(Actual Infrared) Angry at Sean for the trickery he had just pulled. You go on a rampage, stabbing both Sean and Preston. Both of them lose 50 HP as a result. This satisfies you immensely, so much that you decide to pat yourself on the back. While bending over to pat yourself on the back, a bouncy ball zings past you and hits the wall. The bouncy ball then splits and both pieces hit Preston with full force, lodging themselves into his flesh and splitting again. The balls continue to split over and over, crushing his insides as they duplicate inside of him. Preston lets out a gurgled scream as his lungs and windpipe are crushed by the small balls.

Preston has died, the bouncy balls have damned his soul. He will not be returning.

(Cyan) You continue to sit there and do absolutely nothing, like the useless little waste of an officer you are.

Seeing the potential for harm of his bouncy balls, Sean bolts for the nearest door and keeps running. If there's no door, he makes one. In fact, even if there is a door, he makes a new bigger, better door. Sean takes the whole room, ceiling, floor, and walls, and turns them into a giant door that leads to everywhere at once. He then opens the door and passes through it.

Not good enough. Not good enough at all.

The wall is great, but it's just a wall. What this place needs is some kind of weapon that can be used to stop attackers or at least act as a deterrent while proper equipment is being constructed in the reverse tower.

How about a trebuchet... On a turret. A turrebuchet. Yes. Perfect. That's exactly what this place needs.

You've just damned Preston's soul! Seeing what your awful creation has done to him, you decide to make a run for it. You look around you, spotting the door, you make a dash for it, as you run, you use your magic to start grabbing everything around you, ripping parts of the walls and floor apart, you slam them all together into a massive door that not only leads outside. It also leads to the same room. It also leads to where Fred is. It leads to everywhere all at once! Smiling at your creation, you step in and... Explode into a couple million pieces. The door acts like a slicer and cuts you into enough pieces to be everywhere at once. The whole planet is now covered in chunks of your flesh.

Surveying your reverse tower, another genius idea pops into your head, A turrebuchet! Using your skills in construction, you create a massive defense structure. The device will actually launch a turret at anyone that intends to breach the tower for destructive reasons. While the turret is in the air, it will spin and shoot in every direction, upon landing on the turret, it will explode!

Every chunk of Sean flesh attempts to assert itself as an independent being, forming into a million identical Sean clones. Immediately, the Sean clones begin to argue with one another about who is the "real" one, as they did not spawn off a central Sean like usual. This argument is so loud that it creates a sonic boom, exploding the nearby area and dealing damage to any wizard within earshot. The Seans, of course, are involved in the argument and thus do not hear how loudly they are arguing, so they are unaffected.

Not good enough. None of this is good enough. It needs to be a night impenetrable fortress, and all this is now is, well, a night impenetrable fortress. But it needs to be even more of a night impenetrable fortress!

Bear traps, turrets, barbed wire, quicksand, barbed wire, a moat, barbed wire, electric fence, barbed wire... There's so much more that can be done here.

You can never have a base that's too well protected. Never.

Well. I believe I'm just going to end it here, due to people losing interest in the game, which is normal, as Lukas pointed out, and also due to me not wanting to push a dead game.

Thanks for playing, everyone.
