Windows Windows Installer Not Putting Exe in Start Menu

After building the Windows Installer and going through the installation, there is a folder for the game on the start menu but there is no exe in the game's folder on the start menu. The exe does show up through browsing to the games program folder in explorer. Players are unable to easily access the game from their start menu. Only the folder.

Any help to fix this would be appreciated!

Update: I ended up having to go into the NSIS installer script and editing it. In the default GMS script, it has nsis.lnk as the shortcut created. This is what breaks it and puts a bad shortcut. I changed it to the app name string with the .lnk extension. It then ends up building the shortcut with the matching name and links up correctly to the icon and shortcuts to the full exe correctly. This should be pushed to a permanent fix. My team has noticed this problem for quite some time.
