GM:S 1.4 win forms for GMS? (debugging)

    does anybody know where I can get a good win API extension or dll that I can create windows forms with?
    I need it for debugging my tile engine.

    I'm pretty sure a legit win API can't be done with GMS (I think I remember reading something like that at one point, at least).
    There's plenty of alternatives in the marketplace. Here's a free one (provided you don't distribute your game with it).

    I found something called MaxWinAPI 2
    but I'm having trouble drawing another window within mine

    MaxWinAPI 2 is really old, it was made to work with GM7 and GM8 if I recall correctly. I don't think it's gonna work in GMS.

    If you're really hellbent on using it, though, your best bet is to contact the creator directly and request assistance. With such an old extension, I seriously doubt anyone here's gonna be able to help you.

    I haven't used it before but I got it running in GMS, here's the example Max WinAPI 2.gmz
