If I'm not mistaken in the IDE there is a menu option to submit a report, and I believe it supports not only bug reports but also suggestions for improvements.
You can discuss suggestions in the Community Chat forum (where you posted this) via the Suggestion prefix. These are considered informal discussions between members about a suggestion you can hold before filing a proper suggestion.
