Whats the go with all the technical docs?

Whats the go with all the official YYG technical docs? They are all dated at being created in 2018, even though some of the docs are several years old.

Makes it hard to find current relevant information.

For example, this doc is five years old - https://help.yoyogames.com/hc/en-us/articles/216753668-GameMaker-Studio-1-2-Shaders-YYC-and-more and it makes out that it was created a little over a week ago.

That's a good observation, and a bit deceiving. Makes dating everything kind of pointless if the dates are unreliable.

That's what I found.

Working away with a 'new' guide one day, to find that it didn't even come close to applying to the current state of GMS versions.

Do you think they may have tried to update them or something, but it only changed the dates?

Organisation aside, they have helped me a lot.

Yeah, I feel those docs would definitely benefit from a "published" and an "updated" date so the relevancy of the information is much clearer.

Even when they are updated, many times the content is dated. The one with the instruction to add ads mentions Google Mobile Advertising GMEZ. The first time I was following that, it confused me totally and sent me on a wild goose chase only to know that Google Play Services is what I want.
