Question - IDE Using sub-images in room editor

Is there any way to use a sub-image as the display for an object in the room editor? So much has been put into improving it, this almost comes off like an oversight if missing. I realize I can edit an object to have it change it's image_index at run time, but it would be nice to not have to make a new sprite for each object just so the room editor better reflects what I'm doing.

That said, if that's the intended method I'll do that, but it's also possible it totally has this feature and I just don't know about it.

This is already on our wish list, just haven't found time to do it yet
