Trying to find a GMS2 Contra controls tutorial

Anybody out there know if there is one? Either for DnD, or code. I'm trying to figure out how to switch my animations with multiple button presses, and am having a bit of trouble doing it on my own.

Did you ever find anything? Ive been thinking of trying to adapting the Control Pad tutorial, and integrating it with a platformer engine
