I gotta be honest, when I first saw this on Twitter I thought it was for another GMC Jam. After I heard it could be teasing GMS2 I decided to watch it.

But if this is teasing GMS2 :O

Oh boy oh boy OH BOY
I wasn't expecting to see at all. I was just starting to work on my indie game's engine using, I guess I gotta wait a bit until we hear more.

Half-Life 2 confirmed

On a serious note, imagining the possible features makes me excited! Will it have a much better 3D support? A 3D model creator and animator? A super upgraded sprite editor/animator, that matches the quality of many sprite and animation software? Will it have possibilities for Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft consoles exporting? Will GM: Studio master collection owners get it for FREE (or discount)? Will it have massively multiplayer options? Will it be able to playback videos in an actual proper way?
Only time will tell....

Or wait a minute..... maybe this is a trap for us all.... maybe "2" actually stands for "to"....

Calm down people, it's just a typo. The title is supposed to be Time2MeetYourMarker. That's "marker", as in logo. YoYoGames is just releasing a new logo, that's all.

They aren't allowed to say anything about Studio 2 release, ahead of time.

It could be my lack of coffee talking, but I'm gonna delay my excitement until a stable release with multi-platform exports working fine and, hopefully, with a pricing, which won't make Master Collection owners feel like Humble Bundle did. Other than that, it's nice to see a glimpse of the future.

Obviously, it's "Meet Your Mark". In other words, @Nocturne (aka Mark) will visit every GameMaker user personally for some fun gamedev stuff or something (he might enter through your screens or something; after all, screens are known for their teleportation capabilities). I guess it might happen somewhere around 25 December, or maybe 31 October? Hard to tell those two apart.

They will call the next version of GM GameMarker, as a reference Mark Overmars, the creator of GM.

One user managed to record @Nocturne's arrival on video as seen below (not suited for young children??)

It would be so good to work again in YYG to see all this magic happening there now... I can only dream now what they are preparing for us (and I hope it will be Delphi-free as Mike always wished ^_^).
