Surface is pure white. Not transparent.

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with surfaces. Essentially when an object gets to the speed of 0 I want it to draw to a surface, then destroy itself. The problem is the surface appears pure white for what seems to be no apparent reason. What the hell is going on here? Halp. Thank you!

If you want the surface transparent, then you need to clear the surface with

draw_clear_alpha(0,0);
