Studio 2 (Steam version) won't update

My IDE is stuck in 2.3.0 since the latest version is not on Steam, and thus, every time I open the program I get the "An update is available" popup.
It then proceeds to download the installer for version 2.3.1, and when I run it, it detects I have an older version installed and asks if I want to replace it, as shown below:

But when I click OK, the installer just closes and the engine is not updated. I've also tried uninstalling it manually, but the updater still thinks I have it in my machine.
Does anyone have any clue as to what is causing this issue, and if there is a possible fix? Thanks in advance.
