Steam Winter Sale - got anything good?

Most of my games are on Game Pass these days, so I don't buy much anymore.

I bought Monster Hunter World as an exception to play with a friend as they play on Steam, not Xbox (Xbox version is on Game Pass :p).

An underrated game series I've enjoyed is the Creeper World games. Specifically Creeper World 3. It's like... an RTS meets a Tower Defense game where the enemy just floods over the map.

Kerbal Space Program is a game I'd recommend if you're into simulation games.

2 games that I already have and liked a lot was Griftlands and Gordian Quest.

Both are turn-based combat. =]

@woodsmoke, I don't mind graphics too much (hell, Rimworld is good for me), but DF is a bit too much. Or should I say too little? XD

And that difficult curve yo...

I got into DF when it was still a 2D game and the maps were all very similar. "Deeper" meant digging more to the right. It was a lot of fun for me while I didn't know what to do or what to expect. Eventually I got to the point with the 3D version where I could embark into a horrific frozen wasteland with no supplies and still survive, and then I didn't really want to play it any more because it wasn't challenging any more.

Still a great game with some great stories though.
