Distribution Steam game + box version

Hi, long story short.
I'd like to publish game on Steam, and also create special physic box edition.
How to build game for steam and dvd? Creating dvd with only steam installer is not an option.

but can you explain both cases? Using steam as DRM and no DRM (only distribution platform).

If you're distributing boxed copies then there is no need for steam as a distribution platform, in fact they do not actually distribute physical goods. You'll need to arrange other distribution channels. Although you could still have your boxed copy activate through steam, if you want to be able to use steam's drm.

If drm isnt an issue, then you dont need to worry about steam at all.
