Hey all,
Our game's sound is suddenly not playing back properly. It cuts in and out constantly. It seems to be related to the 3D sound spectrum, as music and ambient sounds play back fine. The thing is, as we develop on Mac and PC, it's still fine on the Mac, with the exact same build. Wondering if anyone else has updated to the most recent Windows 10 and if you've had any issues? We've tried rolling back any changes, so what was working perfectly fine yesterday before the update is now still broken. We tried another smaller project in Game Maker and that was fine. The only thing that's changed is the windows update.
We're on IDE: 2.2.5.481, Runtime: 2.2.5.378.
Edit: Just ran a previously exported build of the game, and it has the same issue. It's the same build we have on steam.
Edit2: Just tried playing Heat Signature (as it's a gamemaker game), and it's doing the same things.
Edit3: Ok, seems like it's all games. Must be our sound card.
Edit4: Fixed it. Seems windows update changed our sound card settings to 5.1 surround. Put it back on stereo. XD
Cheers,
