Hi guys,
I want a particle editor, idk if it's the correct word but I want something where I can easily see what are doing the particles and change with few commands if I don't like them.
I saw Geon Fx, it's not free so anyone already tried ?

Thank you for reading!

I bought GeonFX and it's pretty good, not used ot for anything much other than playing around with it but for $5 or whatever it was it's good value and a nice tool to have for the future should I need it - I'd recommend it if $5 isn't gonna break the bank for you.

Here are a couple of free ones you can try as well:

https://www.zingot.com/particletoy/ (works in the browser)

There is another older one from GM7/GM8 days but I can't remember the name of it, it might just be "Particle Editor" but you can browse through the search results for that yourself!

I use this to this day: http://games.alertstudios.com/old/index.php?page=s/pd2

It's old. but still generates valid GML and is still one of the most fully featured editors out there.

I also made one that is designed to make sprites from your particles, which you can get here: http://gmc.yoyogames.com/index.php?showtopic=539511
(It's very dated, but still works! Note that it uses the old compressed EXE format, so you'll get Windows saying it's a potentially dangerous file, but just use "Run Anyway").

:)
