Hi guys, I'm experimenting with isometric pixel design. I wanted to ask you, since this is my first approach to that graphic, which software is used for this kind of work and the optimal set-ups for development. I have tried many different settings found in the net, both in Adobe Illustrator and in Photoshop. Unfortunately, I find it difficult to have the "tools" that allow me to do quite quickly (such as using grids or tools to create snapping lines with such grids). Draw pixels per pixel, every line I think is excessive. Let me know! Thanks so much!

Why would you use Illustrator for pixel art? It's not a pixel art program, it literally does not do it. I use and recommend Aseprite for pixel art, Pyxel Edit is alright as well but more focused on tiles. You'll need to learn the specific techniques behind isometric art though, there aren't really shortcuts.

Edit: also, drawing pixel by pixel is excessive? Welcome to pixel art, enjoy your stay...
