Question - IDE SOLVED: Export Sprite Disabled

So I have started working on a game. I dont have much experience in GML or game maker at all. I made a simple sprite player and map but when I try to run the game i get a the error

Error: object obj_grass uses sprite spr_grass which is not being exported
Error: sprite "spr_grass" has been used but is marked for no export

What am I doing wrong here?



EDIT: I fixed it.

Does anyone know why that was put in place in the first place?
What is the reason to disable sprite export by default?

For the same reason to AfterEffects disable sound export by default :) ... ? 42 ?
