So I was just using Gamemaker as normal, and everything was working. Then as soon as I edited a sprite and closed it, I got some message about Gamemaker not being able to save the sprite. Now every time I try to run the game, I get this:

Trying to clean results in the same thing. I've also done a fresh install, and I deleted the problematic sprite, but nothing helps.

Fixed it.

Turns out that the sprite I deleted in the IDE was still lingering in my project's sprite folder. Deleting it from there solved the issue.
