Android [SOLVED] APK Expansion extension missing from 2.2.4!

So, the official word seems to be that the APK Expension Extension is obsolete and is discontinued as a stand alone extension, and instead it's an asset bundled inside the Google Play Services extension as an added asset. Something like that.
But, looking inside the Google Play Services extensions reveals it is in fact not there,
rendering me unable to build my project [which needs the APK Expension] and upload to Google Play's console.
Am I missing something? If not, please fix this.
