I'm pretty new to 3d, and I've been trying to find out how to put a skybox in the background of my first person 3d game. Anyone know any tutorials or anything for this? Thanks

I'm not sure if there are different types, but basically I want to put clouds in the sky using a skybox. Kind of like minecraft I guess

I'm not sure how real skyboxes are typically done, but you could make a giant dome (half-sphere), reverse all the faces so they face inwards, and then texture the inside.

It might also be possible to just draw the clouds to the screen in 2D mode before switching to 3D mode to draw the models. (I'm not sure... I haven't worked much with GM's 3D.)
