Legacy GM Simply rendering a project and make it a program.

I just need confirmation on this...
In order to render a project into a program in Gamemaker Studio (Professional Edition v1.1.754 specifically)...
do you just press the 'Play!' button and it will do the rest?

If not, what has to be done?
Any kind of feedback is greatly appreciated.

GMC Elder
GMS1: File ---> Create Executable
GMS2: Build ---> Create Executable

Test playing with F5 / play button will build a game data blob and then run it with a special runner program. While it exists on your hard drive, it's unsuitable for public releases. Making an executable will build the game data blob and then package it with a standalone runner that basically makes it a program.

Also, 1.1.754 is ancient. At least update to 1.4, it gets you both better API support and some fixes to stuff like the room editor.
