Some of my games now freeze in iOS 10.2 when the analytics_event_ext function is called. I removed that line and they no longer freeze so the problem obviously has to do with flurry.
I am running GMS 1.4.1657 so this bug may be fixed in a more up to date version of game maker. Along with that, my games that use Flurry but were made with an even older version of GMS do not have this bug. A little strange.
Just thought I'd let people know about this. Go check your games to make sure they still work.
