GMS 2 [russian.csv] Russian language for Game Maker Studio 2

Since the localization feature was added to the new update, I did not stand aside and translated the interface into Russian. The translation was done accurately, based on the interfaces of Visual Studio, Notepad++ and partly on the materials of the translation of GameMaker 8.1. As I am translating, I have encountered some problems, which I will discuss later. Also, I will have one request to the developers about adding new lines to the translation file as it updates.

Almost everything has been translated, starting from the initial screen with a greeting. However, I missed some lines, so as not to break the habitual appearance, as well as those lines in the translation of which I doubt. In some cases, I had to either leave the original, or cut the words. In addition to this, not all the lines are displayed in the document, but this is a matter of time, as will be added - I will translate.

Так как в новом обновлении добавили возможность локализации, я не остался в стороне и сделал перевод интерфейса на русский язык. Перевод выполнялся аккуратно, основываясь на интерфейсы Visual Studio, Notepad++ и частично на материалы перевода GM 8.1. По мере перевода я столкнулся с некоторыми проблемами, о которых расскажу позже. Так же у меня будет одна просьба к разработчикам по поводу добавления новых строчек в файл перевода по мере обновления.

Было переведено практически все, начиная от начального экрана с приветствием. Однако я пропустил некоторые строчки, чтобы не сломать привычный вид, а так же те строчки, в переводе которых я сомневаюсь. В отдельных случаях пришлось либо оставить оригинал, либо обрезать слова, например "Найти следующее" => "Найти след.". В дополнение к этому, в документ выведены не все строчки, но это дело времени, как добавят - переведу.

Put the file in the "Languages" folder, which is located in the folder of the installed GMS 2. Then select "Russian language" in the preferences.

Since I found a problem with the markup of the localization file, I wrote the utility. Now all the lines in the file are placed in quotation marks, which prevents accidental truncation of lines during translation. I also found lines with extra spaces in the beginning, which were also fixed. Here is a formatted English localization file:

Так как я обнаружил проблему с разметкой файла локализации, я написал утилиту. Теперь все строчки в файле помещены в кавычки, что предотвращает случайные обрезания строчек при переводе. Так же мной были найдены строчки с лишними пробелами в начале, которые тоже были исправлены. Вот отформатированный файл английской локализации:

It's very cool that you doing translation. I will definitely install it. Will you do translation of GM:S2 manual?(if it is possible) It would make a good push for developers-beginners. Also, I could help you if you will do that. Now, Russian.

Translation of the manual will take a long time (therefore no one has yet done a translation to 1.4), and at the moment it is not very expedient as it will be updated and changed. But the interface is almost ready, and therefore added the possibility of localization.
And in general, the manual works very badly and most likely it will be remade (I hope so). It was better at 8.1, slightly worse at 1.4 and now it's completely slow and the buttons do not work.
The structure itself leaves much to be desired. Almost all categories contain material for general understanding and only the latter are packed with really useful data that are poorly sorted.

Перевод руководства займет много времени (поэтому никто до сих пор не сделал перевод на 1.4), да и в данный момент не очень целесообразно т.к. оно еще будет обновляться и изменяться. А вот интерфейс уже почти готов, поэтому и добавили возможность локализации.
Да и вообще, руководство работает очень плохо и скорее всего его переделают (я на это надеюсь). Лучше всего было на 8.1, чуть хуже на 1.4 а теперь совсем тормозит и кнопки не работают.
Сама структура оставляет желать лучшего. Почти все категории содержат материал для общего понимания и только последние набиты действительно полезными данными, которые плохо отсортированы.

The developers still did not apply my recommendation to the translation file. Without this, I can not continue the translation, because new lines were added in random order. I have to write a logical program to collect all the lines that they have issued without logic and there will be many errors. I'll wait when the developers finally add quotes in all lines or even change commas to normal characters that will not exactly be found in the translation.

Разработчики все еще не применили мою рекомендацию к файлу перевода. Без этого я не смогу продолжить перевод, так как были добавлены новые строчки в случайном порядке. Мне придется писать логическую программу для сбора всех строчек, которые они оформили без логики и будет много ошибок. Я подожду когда разработчики наконец добавят кавычки во всех строчках или вообще сменят запятые на нормальные символы, которые точно не будут встречаться в переводе.

Когда то переводил игру и там такая же беда была с .tsv файлом. Но проблема была решена очень просто.
Есть два варианта решени:
1. Гитхаб - покажет различие каждой строки при обновлении.
2. Есть спецальные программы (гугл -скачать) которые определяют различие версии файлов. Также показывает строки и символы котоыре были поменяны.

Скачал файл, в папку Languages поместил, а в программе не появился выбор русского языка, что делать? Перезапускал, качал заного, не помогло

 

Тот перевод не работает с текущей версией GMS2. Пока без перевода.

I will like to translate GMS to spanish, so many lazy spanish people i know would like more to try this very good tool.

 

I wrote a small program which compares English and translated .CSVs and shows what lines was changed.

Хотя хочу уточнить один момент. Скачал файл russian.csv, поместил в папку Languages, но GMS2 не увидел этого файла. Открыл russian.csv и english.csv для сравнения. И в russian.csv обнаружил отсутствие строки "_LanguageCode" (эта строка под №7 в файле english.csv).

Скопировал всю строку со значением "_LanguageCode", в столбце "English" заменил значение "en -> ru", в столбце "Translation" написал "Русский". Замена "en -> ru" обязательна, иначе GMS2 не сможет распознать язык перевода. После этого твой перевод заработал.

Although I want to clarify one point. I downloaded the file russian.csv, put it in the folder Languages, but GMS2 did not see that file. I discovered English.csv and english.csv for comparison. In russian.csv found no rows "_LanguageCode" (this line the number 7 in the file english.csv).

I copied the entire string with the value "_LanguageCode", in the column "English" was replaced with the value "en -> ru" in the column "Translation" written "Russian". Replace "en -> ru", otherwise GMS2 will not be able to recognize the language of the translation. After that, your translation has earned.

I afraid that localization was abandoned. And topicstarter wrote, why (check @OneOnline's profile - Last Activity: Aug 26, 2017).

 

Закинул русский язык куда только возможно. во все папки Languages и все равно в GMS_2 не появился русский язык. Что делать?

 

Посмотри, где находится локализация и добавь туда.
