Hey everyone. Just wanted to share the first game I ever finished making (around 2015 or so).

This is Roger the Hogger. It's a very short, and very simple platformer with about 9 single-screen levels. My goal in making this was to just use the limited knowledge I had at the time to make a game you could complete from beginning to end. It's basically the proof to myself that I can make and finish games at all, as I used to (and still do) have trouble with scoping my projects. I also used it to set some basic foundations. For example, a title screen with music, levels that ramp in difficulty (though the overall game is still very easy), making a character that fits the game (Roger is a warthog who "hogs" treasure), and having proper conveyance (players can probably figure out how to play the game with just a glance), etc.

Anyway, if you're interested, here's some screenshots and a download link. All graphics/music/sound are by me.
