Hi. I am using gamemaker 1 and as I know it has two compilers for windows: normal and YYC. As I read YYC compiler is better in general and should be used when releasing game to public.

I am using old pc with 4 gigs of ram and my project size is ~300 mb. Gamemaker says that I don't have enough ram to build game with YYC compiler, but normal compiler works.

So question is: could normal compiler be used to release game on steam to public? Will I encounter any problems?
