Discussion PS5 Duelsense support

Hey everyone,
Does anyone know if or when Gamemaker studio 2 will support PS5 Duelsense features such as Haptic triggers, rumble and the controller speaker.
I've also noticed that the d-pad is not mapped?

Well we support them on PS5 target... are you talking about adding support for them on Windows/mac/linux??? please be more specific on what you are asking?

Usually controller support on other platforms (that those controllers were not designed for) takes time and requires newer drivers.

@rwkay just wanted to +1 and maybe clarify CouchPotato’s question. When developing for PS5, is there any way to utilize the DualSense’s incredible haptics including its built-in speakers? The remote can receive 4 channels of audio: two for left and right haptics, and two for left/right stereo on the controller’s speakers.

That is probably something that should not be asked here in the public topics. IIRC there is a hidden forum for people who have signed the NDAs and are allowed to discuss console exports, etc...

Open a helpdesk ticket and it can be discussed there.
