one of the things I find really frustrating about the marketplace when making assets available is I have no real control over the pricing. Currently the minimum price I can use is 1.99, personally I would like to go cheaper than that. Is the marketplace likely to embrace more flexibility control over the assets pricing in the future?

Going to predict a definite no on this one - they removed the $0.99 tier because it was unprofitable for YYG. And fair enough really - if someone is willing to spend 99c on something it's probably not that much of a bump up to 1.99 to ensure that YYG isn't actually paying for that transaction to happen
