Alpha Power 3D - New render system for GMS 1 & 2

Getting back on to the hardcore horse today and decided I'd replace the render system for giggles.

Extremely early in (like one hour in), but this is gonna be good! :D



No scripts - the entire code is what you see added to the screenshot.

No reason why it won't work on most platforms. The following should be no probs -
  • Windows
  • Linux
  • UWP
  • XBox native (at a stretch)

I am just curious as to how you "replaced the rendering system"? Do you mean you implemented a software renderer that renders what is show on screen? Or do you mean that you are creating a native window ontop of GM's one that is doing the rendering via an external engine? Or you just created a bunch of scripts to easy 3D development?

EDIT: Oh NVM! Saw that you were passing the window_handle ... definitely an external engine. Carry on :D.
