Hello everyone!
I have a question. Does somebody know is png sequence as animation slower then gif animation or the same for game speed (perfomance)?

As long as the png images aren't super large, it shouldn't make any difference.

Importing .gif into game maker converts them into separate .png images, as said in the manual
The Manual said:
When you load an animated gif, the different images of the animation automatically form the sprite subimages.
I'm not sure with GMS2 but with GMS1, you have to manually set the image_speed, like with everything else.

For example 500x500 is large what do you think? Our character animation is 500x500.
That's fairly large for a sprite. I would suggest searching up tips about texture pages.

Thanks a lot. That's a good answer!

You should be fine! My shapes in ROY were about that size
Okay. Thanks to you too!

I think we'll use png animations ;)
