I have a game I plan on releasing on Apple Store and Android but I have a few questions. First, I want to make it free and pay to add new levels. If so, would I have to pay multiple costs: demo, full version, patched version x, etc. Either that or just make them pay an outright price. My question is, if I want to update the game, how would I go do that? I originally thought to somehow make a java program that would update the game, copying over a new executable. I'm not sure if the executable is copied to the computer and I can just update it there. I'm really confused about the whole process of the whole patching process in general.
