The team at Summitsphere is looking to add a remote GML programmer to our Antonball Deluxe crew! We're seeking an experienced coder with an appetite for retro games who can integrate with our team of top talent and deliver elegant, readable code across the project.
The term for Antonball Deluxe will be roughly five months leading up to launch, with the potential for post-launch support. However, we are working on multiple projects at Summitsphere, and there are several opportunities for future collaboration.
Payment is negotiable - DM for more details.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with design and production team to deliver gameplay mechanics according to spec
- Implement elegant, readable code across the project
- Meet deadlines and schedules set by both developer and publisher
- Follow best practices, documentation and coding standards
- Jobs you can expect to perform include tightening up enemy physics, hooking up menus, programming tutorials, writing AI player pathfinding, and more
MISC DETAILS
- You will be working remotely alongside a team of top talent
- Although many of our projects are developed in GML and GameMaker Studio 2.3, knowledge of other languages and engines is welcomed
- Knowledge and passion for video games, particularly retro titles, is greatly appreciated
- A good sense of humor and easygoing personality are huge bonuses
