I had this problem showing up so many times in the past few weeks, silently went away but now it's back again. Ive tried reinstalling the google play services extension, but no dice. Any Ideas?

Wow, That's all kinds of messed up. ;)
Windows is creating desktop.ini files (which hold folder layout preferences) in your cache directory.
I know you can remove this via Windows Folder Options and de-select 'remember each folder's view settings', but I couldn't tell you why this is happening.
Maybe someone with a stronger Windows knowledge might be able to answer this.

For the time being, click the broom icon in GM:S to clear your build cache, then go to 'c:\G\A\' and delete your Flappy Defense2 folder, which will clear out what the broom icon does not. Then compile again.

Appreciate the response!

Tried the Clear Cache broom and deleting the folder, same thing. Tried the newest Early Access Build that just landed, still a no go.

Trying to figure out how to remove WIndows 7 Folder options to see if that works...

EDIT: Strangely enough one of my projects compiles but not this one... o_O

umm are those language packs from windows, i remember something on windows site about 7 and languages not to install them because they course problems, not sure what problem and if they recommended doing something to fix it like some patch or something, cant remember as i never installed them so didn't have the problem, might be worth a look if no else can shed any light on it.
