I was wondering if there is an official (or unofficial) GameMaker:Studio IRC chat room somewhere?
Would be nice to have something like the above for quick technical help...

Moving to Community Chat, because this is not a technical issue with GM:S.

I've heard about multiple unofficial IRCs (but am not a member of any, so I'm not aware of any details), but there are no official ones.

No, there is no official one and there probably never will be due to the difficult and time consuming task of moderating it.
