I used gamemaker to recreate an interactive webinterface, with dummy data, to be used in a videoshoot. The actor had to be able to scroll through a webpage. So I had a frontobject with the fixed part of the interface, and a large object to be scrolled behind it - build as html5 and posted on webhosting.
It worked perfect, until moments before the shoot. The mainobject that could slide vertically suddenly appeared black on all possible mobile devices, while it all had been tested beforehand.
The only quick fix I could find, was to lower the texture resolution (granted, the object-to-be-scrolled was rather large). Any clou why this sudden change and how to avoid this? Is this a gamemakerthing or rather a hostingthing?
