Mac OSX New to gamemaker; fatal error

I've just downloaded the program, and am working on some tutorials, but i dont seem to be able to run anything.

I keep getting the following error message;

FAILED; Run Program Complete

it wont even run a blank room.
How can i fix this?

im running IDE v2.0.7.173 Runtime v2.0.7.110

it seems you're using Mac version (IDE build 173) ? ensure target is set to Mac then (right top corner, under runtime, a crosshair icon).

@Rob_Zed it seems you have a trial version. On the page you downloaded it, there was info it only support WINDOWS test:

Please read more carefully next time.

If you paid for licence, logout and login again inside IDE.

I purchased and installed the desktop version of GameMaker for Mac; it gives me the option to export to MacOs however it still does not function.

I have submitted a bug report; looking forward to getting started on my game

What versions do you have installed of:
- Mac OS
- XCode

Can you post the entire contents of the GMS 2 Output window.

It may be that Mono Framework was not installed.

I think it may be Mono Framework, i cant find it on my machine. Is there a way to initialize the installation of Mono?

EDIT; reinstalling gamemaker prompted the Mono installation, lets see if it works!

EDIT 2; Reinstalling Mono Framework did the trick! thanks a million!
