    Hey all,

Our latest official GameMaker Studio 2 tutorial, created by Shaun Spalding, is a 2 part video series setting you up with your own Platformer game using GameMaker Language (GML). This short tutorial takes roughly an hour. Part 1 will see you set the foundations for your platforming logic and Part 2 will polish it up with free resources provided with the tutorial.

The Winter Sale is on! You can get 20% off the following GameMaker Studio 2 licences:
    • GameMaker Studio 2 Creator - now $31 USD
    • GameMaker Studio 2 Desktop - now $79 USD
    • GameMaker Studio 2 Web - now $119 USD
    • GameMaker Studio 2 Mobile - now $159 USD
    • GameMaker Studio 2 UWP - now $159 USD
    Sale ends Jan 5th 2020.

Lastly, we would like to thank you all for a fantastic 2019. The closed beta of GameMaker Studio 2 version 2.3.0 (containing Sequences and the anticipated GML Updates) is currently underway and while we planned to have this released into open beta by the end of the year it's going to slip into early 2020. Sorry that you have to wait a little longer. It's a huge update and we hope you look forward to it as much as we are. We have also recently released a new 2.2.5 version with important improvements and fixes to see out 2019.

Happy holidays from everyone at YoYo Games!

Blog says that "We will be going into more depth on the rest of version 2.3 in future tech blogs." - does those will be published during beta phase to teach users what new things do? As we in fact didn't get any new info about things that were not finalized in April.
