Just learning and made a simple asteroid game. I noticed that only 2 keys are recognized at the same time. For example i can go forward and sideways and shoot. But i can only do 2 of them at the same time. If im shooting and going forward then i cant change direction and so on n so forth. Is there a limitation to the number of events that can happen simultaneously? Can i change that?

If the keys in question are left, up, and space, that is a common limitation with keyboard wiring (see n-key rollover) rather than an issue with GameMaker. Using a key from letter area (e.g. Z or X) or a modifier key (Ctrl, Shift, Alt) bypasses the issue.
