thank you for all the replies, ive found soneone now
im working on a game right now, its going to be a turn based strategy game. think advance wars if that helps paint a picture on what the game might be like. will have a couple of different game modes. nothing overly fancy just some standard stuff like kill a specific unit, kill everything, capture hq. ect.....
im looking someone to do the ai for me, the ai will need 3 difficulties easy medium and hard. easy will be the standard logic found in most tutorials. which is move until in range on whatever is closest. then attack it. the difference between the difficulty levels is how smart the ai is. up to you how youd like to handle it. but i was thinking something that structures everything the ai can take into account when deciding what to do. and the difficulty level simply removes certain decisions.
so for medium they will know about smart unit placement, whats good against what. ect... so hat you wind up with is something that can make a decent fight but not just wreck everyone they fight. then hard they will take alot more into account. for example units health booth for there own team and enemies in relevent situations. know when its smart to push and when its smart to hang back and build an army to defend. ect...
also if successful person is good and cheap enough id be happy to give you more work also. as after this the game wont be far off being finished.
