SOLVED Link Steam Account

From this article it states you can download/install GMS2 from Steam if you purchased GMS2 from YoYo directly: https://help.yoyogames.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001593391-GameMaker-Studio-2-And-Steam

If you have already bought GameMaker Studio 2 from YoYo Games directly, you can link your YoYo Account with your Steam account and then use either/or of the versions (the Steam client version, or the standalone executable). To link accounts, go to your YoYo Account dashboard and then Settings > Linked Accounts and click the "link" button:

However, I have linked my steam account through YoYo's account settings, but Steam doesn't know I own GMS2. This makes sense, I am guessing I need a Steam Key? Or am I missing something?
