Lighting Engine Issues

My game uses this: https://marketplace.yoyogames.com/assets/7820/lighting-system-2d for a lighting system. Whenever the game restarts or the camera is moved quickly, the light follows it. I really want to use lighting for this game. Anything I can do to fix this?

Basically it appears the lighting is being drawn on a surface. I don't know anything about that asset, but I would assume somewhere you need to let it know the coordinates of the view position inside the room, so it can subtract that position from where it's drawing the lights onto the surface.
