Mac OSX Launching XCode 12 from GMS2

I just updated my Mac to Big Sur and XCode from 11.7 to 12 beta. Whenever I build with GMS2 it still launches the old version of XCode (11.7) even though I open version 12 beta before building. Is there some way to direct GMS@ to the new XCode12?

Have a look at this command line utility https://www.manpagez.com/man/1/xcode-select/ on Mac which is used to switch xcode around.

NOTE: Xcode 12 is no longer in Beta and I would advise installing the latest full version from the App Store rather than the Beta from the developer site.
