Krestel Moon's Creature, 2D animation app has some nice new features:
They have been slowly but surely developing this software over the years.
And they really seem committed to doing all the work of making a GMS runtime:

Yet, they haven't, according to them because they are unsatisfied with what the current plugin/extension system offers.
Maybe YYG should contact them, and maybe something should be added to the roadmap for GMS2.
