We often manually build yyc apk at the end of the day and put it on dropbox, so that other team members can test. Is there any possibility to automate this? For example to build GMS2 projects from the command line or some other way.

You can simulate keyboard presses with VBScript iirc and then make it run in background every so often the IDE's keyboard shortcut for build

but even then you need user interaction to click save in the dialog box that comes up

Sikuli and Jenkins can automate most developers tasks. From compiles to automatic testing of game features.

YYG was for sure using Jenkins at some point, so they are familiar with it.

Check out this wrapper for accessing the YYC compiler from the command line: https://github.com/GameMakerDiscord/Rubber.

You can then use Jenkins to spawn a CI server that uses this wrapper to make builds.
