iOS IAP consumable or subscription


A subscription is a contract for repeatewd payments.

If you paid for a subscription to a magazine you would expect to have to make repeat payments.

So if you had a game / app and say you wanted to give users a 30 day membership as a one off payment (no contract for repeat payments) would a consumable IAP not be the best option?

After 30 days the user would then have to buy another one off 30 day membership. BUT they dont have to if they dont want.

So why would you want to use a non renewable subscription to take payment?
