I have begun working again on an old game I made in GMS1 that I Imported into GMS2. Mostly it works fine, but when I make a new object and try to call it with instance_create_depth, it either doesn't appear or the game crashes and goes black. I have been able to work around it, but I would love some insight into why that happens. Anyone have any info? I've looked at the documentation and it appears that nothing has changed with instance_create, but I admit that I am a bit of a doofus and could be messing something up.
