Legacy GM In-app Purchases - Android and iOS

Hey everyone!
I've been making some research on in-app purchases (mostly non-consumables), but there seems to be a lot of people with problems implementing IAP in their apps.
I've checked out https://help.yoyogames.com/hc/en-us/articles/216755198-In-App-Purchases-Example, and it seemed pretty straight-forward. However, things are not always what they seem in GM, so before I started coding my IAP thingies I thought about creating this thread so that I can see what works best.
As the thread grows, think of it thread as a "best practices" thread for IAP. As soon as I get mine working, I'll share my methods with you guys too.
Anyone willing to share their experience here?


Hey, did you ever get IAP's fully working?

I've currently got an issue trying to detect when a user refunds an IAP (Google Play), but it just never gets triggered. It still thinks the IAP is purchased.
