If I finish a game during this open beta, will I be able to export since I have a GM: Studio Pro license? Or will I have to purchase a new license for Studio 2 when it fully releases? Thank you.

The beta is only a trial version and has limits on the number of assets you can have so you shouldn't be making complete games with it. The purpose of the beta is really only for testing and finding bugs.

You would have to buy GMS 2 again. Upgrade discounts would be available for existing paid users, though.

Either way, I won't recommend doing a game in GM:S and then exporting via GMS 2. Although the developers have written compatibilitly scripts, some things might not work as expected. Export it with GM:S if you want to avoid trouble.

A golden rule of thumb is to finish a game in the version you started it in, be it GM8 or GM:S.
