I put a .yyz file of my game onto a thumb drive and from that thumb drive onto a Mac, and the controls are very odd and respond weirdly. The character spawns in the wrong location as well. It's possible that I'm just a moron, but does anyone know what might be the problem here? (Using GMS2 on both systems!)

That's not much info to go on.

I have a game that works the same on Windows and Mac, with no code changes required. (Some minor settings in the Mac OS preferences are different)

Do you have the exact same version of IDE and runtime installed on both Windows and Mac?

What do you mean by the controls are odd and respond weirdly. What control scheme are you using.

What is the wrong location, where do they spawn normally, and where are they spawning on Mac? Screenshots?
